I feel like I’m about to get dunked on for this but I’m going to ask anyway, is it okay to feed my betta one guppy fry?

I have my betta in heavily planted 10 gallon by himself but I also have a 20 gallon with a ton of guppies and I just had one of the pregnant ones give birth, I put her in a 5 gallon planted tank I had set up just for the preggo ones to give birth then take them out before they eat their own fry.

Am I a ruthless bastard for feeding one of the fry to my betta? The fry was about 2 days old. I put one in his tank and my betta Cotto was on him immediately, swimming around the tank like crazy trying to catch the quick fry, and eventually he caught him inside his floating log. I feel like it was a good meal for him and I delayed his morning breakfast a bit since he just ate and gave him some betta flake as a light snack. It was the most active I’ve seen Cotto he’s usually very active as it is. Seemed like some good exercise for him. Is this bad for Cotto? I would feed him one everyone few weeks assuming my guppies keep reproducing like crazy.
