Seller says he has a 40Gal on it filled with water. And its great. I am looking to buy it for my 15gal tall.(maybe an upgrade too someday if the girlfriend agrees)
Looks legit? Will rot? Or catch mites easily? Or expand or shrink with age?
Idon't really have any experience with wood. This looks like fresh wood. I may be wrong.
Help a brother out. Thanks everyone in advance.

Woodn’t you like to know
Edit: seal it with a topcoat and I think you’re good 👍
2-3coats of clear polyurethane
Oh yikes, I wouldn’t. Even if that wood is properly cured it almost definitely isn’t sealed so it’s vulnerable to bugs and moisture, and also cracking/warping if you live somewhere warm and dry. If you look at that bottom shelf, there’s a moisture stain already and that’s not a great sign. If it was sealed it wouldn’t darken the wood like that. Besides that, the design isn’t reinforced at all so all of the weight is distributed right on the type of that plywood and down onto the legs, which are already curving. I would maybe put 5 gallons on this if I really insisted on using it.
How much are they asking for it? Because if you really like it, you could make your own, probably nicer and better.
If you seal it it shouldn’t be an issue.
It needs cross bracing
