These are my kuhlis doing the dance of their people. They do this All_Day. I'm not kidding. They make me feel sea sick. There's 6 of them total- 3 regular stripey socks and 3 black noodles.

They seem to take it in turns being on "panic dance" duty but sometimes do it in pairs. They live in a massive corner 350l (92 gallons) heavily planted, full of wood, stones, super soft sand and millions of hidey holes.

Are they really okay? Everything I've read says they're happy if they're doing this but it just looks like very stressed behaviour to me. It stresses me out seeing them do this.

Water parameters are great, they live with community fish. I've run out of ideas.

What substrate do you have? I have some dwarf sag and sand and mine chill all day in the grass. Maybe they don’t feel comfortable because they have no where to hide.
