So i wanna ask you guys about your opinion.

I already have 8 black phantom tetra, 6 otocinclus catfish, some snails and i dont know how many shrimps.

Black phantoms are pretty big and active, i can’t see what could go with them without issues.. maybe a few amanos?

  2. That´s only a 13 gallon thank, so no. Its already small for the tetras alone, as phantoms should ideally be in 15gallons or bigger. Some shrimp perhaps?

Tank looks great! When it comes to stocking, I think the bigger consideration here is territory and temperament more so than water quality. I think you could definitely get away with a group of 6 or so kuhli loaches. They have low bioloads and will stay at the bottom of the tank. Mine have been living in harmony with my neocaridina shrimp for years and I still have a healthy population of malaysian trumpet snails. They wont take space or attract attention from your tetras and are a great colorful little detail.

Just keep in mind that when put in a new tank they can get stressed and will “surf” your aquarium glass so I’d fashion a lid out of polycarbonate greenhouse panels so they dont accidentally jump out for the first few weeks (they’re easy to cut with a good knife and can be found at most big box hardware stores). Also, they tend to like the water warmer. Not too warm, but at least around 78 F.
