Rainbow trout is my guess. Looks like a single hook version of the treble hook version I have if that same lure. Catch rainbows on it all the time.

No real experience fishing mainland BC, but I’ve been fishing on Vancouver island for as long as I can remember, that spinner will do well for trout as well as pretty much anything else you’ll encounter in your local waters.
