What reel should I get and what can I use this rod for? My neighbor gave me a bunch of his old fishing gear because he doesn’t use it anymore and I just started fishing. I usually do inshore bay fishing so if it can be applied to that in any way that would be awesome.

A Seeker Black Steel Casting (BSC) 670-7
This is a classic West Coast style rod. Probably worth $350. It’s a great rod for heavy Yo-Yo iron jigs like Tady, Salas, or JRI. Pair with a Avet LX & 65# braid and go ham on the Yellowtail.
Seeker and Calstar rods are my goto rods for the SoCal Saltwater scene.
