Hello everyone,

One of my favorite YouTube channels recently featured my post, and I was over the moon with excitement. It felt like a dream come true to see my work showcased on a platform I admire so much. However, my joy quickly turned into frustration and dismay when the video touched upon my GoFundMe story.

For those who are unaware, I set up a GoFundMe campaign asking for 15k CAD. My intention was to gather funds to revive the aquarium shop project I was passionately working on before the war ravaged it. The shop I poured my heart and soul into was severely damaged, and I lost a significant amount of my savings. Yes, 15k CAD was a lot to ask for, and I acknowledge that it was a mistake. The GoFundMe page was swiftly deleted following the backlash, and I publicly apologized for any inconvenience caused.

What truly infuriated me was the deletion of my comment that explained the entire situation. It felt as though the pain and suffering I endured during the war—the losses I faced—were being exploited for clickbait, just to garner views, without any regard for my story or the anguish I experienced. It's disheartening to see my hardships used in such a callous manner, especially without even reaching out to understand what truly happened.

I don't mind my story and images being used; in fact, it was a dream to be featured on this channel. But you don't just assume the narrative and erase the voice of the person who lived through it. I'm the one who endured the war, who lost everything, and the one who lives on the dark side of this world.
This won't change my respect to Chris and i still love his channel.

  1. Had you put 15k CAD into the project before the war and the pictures of the aftermath? I think that’s where it falls flat. It seemed like you were asking for aquarium related money where there was little backing up said claim.
I don’t put any personal opinion in this at all, I just saw the video today and looked at your post history real quick.
For what it’s worth, I’m sorry.

  2. You could still be a scammer. I don’t think going after fish for thought is going to go the way you hope. He featured your story honestly. We don’t know if you’re scamming or not and you still haven’t provided any proof.
