Found this today in a tree. Looks like 2 worm black worm weights with a translucent ruby bead in between all on a beefy wire. Connects to a heavy gauge EWG hook (0/1?) with a barrel swivel. Doesn't appear to be homemade, but its possible. Is it just a blinged out weight? Why is it rigged in such a fashion? I could see maybe for a river or deep water, but this was at a small lake with no significant current or depth. TIA!
