Hi! My third year fly fishing coming up and I've always begged or borrowed a rod up til now. I'd like to get fully kitted up and have always been recommended the Oracle Shakespeare rod but wondering if anyone has any other recommendations?
Double hand rod, UK (Scotland) based.

If you’ve been borrowing gear for three years you know what’s your preference better than a bunch of muppets on the Internet.
Otherwise you’re going to get 90% American recommendations and 10% European ones, and none of which you have personal interaction with already which is, y’know, kinda the important thing.
Buy the one you used and liked.
