Personal gripe here, not about your post. I don’t get the hype about Pfleuger. I have a Trion, President, and President XT. They all started out/continue to be kinda…cruncy, not smooth. I’d probably grab an Abu, Shimano, or another Piscifun Viper (fuckin tank tbh) before I got another Pfleuger.

ya got 2 reels for the price of one! Decent deal but I have tried both reels with not great results, but they will work for a bit and be fine for general freshwater use. They are both 100% plastic I believe
