Since I don’t know a lot about fishing I’d thought I’d ask you fine folk if this is actually a thing? Just started watching Yellowstone episode 1 and theres a group of them charging around on horseback fishing in the river. Should I just stop now and save myself many hours of bad TV?

Montanan here… save yourself the hours. No one does most of the shit (including fly fish on a horse) on that show and every Montanan I know boycotts that show over how dumb it is and the influx of Texans it has brought here playing cowboy.
I’m sure you can but.. do you really want to find out? I mean do you really want your fly to catch the horse and then you’re gonna be in real trouble.

The show is absolutely terrible so yeah, skip it.
