he’s a male crowntail that I’ve had for a little under two weeks. I’m making this post because I’m always worried about his health and It’s hard for me to tell because I’m a beginner. I have a 10gal tank with a heater, filter, and live plants. Parameters are PH- 7.2. Ammonia- 0ppm Nitrite-0.25ppm Nitrate- 0.25ppm

He looks good, but is your tank cycled? With a nitrite reading I don’t think it’s cycled? Bettas that I’ve had in the past were very sensitive to nitrites so I’d put some Prime in.
