just got a 40 gal, i’m super scared of it breaking. I’m not sure if you can tell by a picture but does this look like it’ll be okay? i’m not adding fish for a while but am still nervous. and is this overhang too much? have a lovely day all 🙂

I think it should be fine, especially since it’s up against a wall. the overhangs not bad at all though
I just upgraded to a 40 gal after keeping 20’s my whole life. most fun I’ve had in years setting it up lol
My first 55 gallon broke the day I got it, shattered and water went everywhere, so when I got the replacement a couple months after I had to get my dad over to help me fill it up because I was too scared, but he made me hold the hose while he went outside to turn it on. I was literally standing on my bed across the room, reaching out while holding onto the hose to keep it in, barely holding back tears, cause I was so scared so no, your definitely not overreacting but I sure was haha 😅
