Two new reels I’m bringing to the outer banks NC this weekend. Stopping at bass pro on the way to grab a rod for each. Figure 7 footers, one medium one MH? <$160 budget. Anyone who owns these have a rec that’s readily available at bass pro? Will be doing pier and maybe some inlet action. Could also be a bit of light duty surf for hell of it.

$160 budget per rod or for two rods?
Daiwa Beefstick. I personally use two 10’ SSS models for catfishing here in Ohio and love the rods. They’re fiberglass or fiberglass blend, but they’re lightweight. I highly recommended checking them out if you’re “budget minded”.
