Would this attract pike?

  1. For pike you generally are using some sort of leaders, typically wire or heavy flourocarbon. To connect the leader snap to a spinnerbait, its generally better to have a spinnerbait with a closed eye. An good example is the Booyah Pikee, or Northland Reed Runner spinnerbaits. But other than that, you should be able to catch pike on that type of setup. I would drop the grub from an 8″ to a 5 or 6″ though.

    Yes absolutely.
If the water is murkey i would recommend Golden colors for pike. Especially the blades.

  3. Honestly with pike, they will bite on most types of lures, from micro creature and worm lures to 4 inch swimbaits and spinners, the bait part is important, having a good flouro or steel leader is more important

Yes, but that is a wildly high price for that spinnerbait. Also if you are trying to pair the grub as a trailer, it’s a bit oversized. That would work great if you were looking at monster pike, but for average size you might be turning off some fish.

  5. Don’t pay that much for the spinner bait that’s way overpriced as someone else also mentioned, Amazon is good for something’s but make sure to price check, if you have a bass pro shop or anything similar nearby you can get a better deal
