Which do you prefer? Which have you caught more fish on? And most importantly, what are your favorite thread/bead/dubbing color combos?

The only way I’ve ever tied or fished them is the sexy version. Not for any reason though, it’s just because. My most successful color/material is standard ass hareline hares ear with a sulky rib. Next would be same thing but in olive. I like them with both gold and matte black beads.

Maybe I’m still just a noob, but does this level of detail matter? I just fish, and if I don’t get a bite I change it out depending on the day. Switch it up depending on water visibility.
To me, the only difference between those two is that one looks more beat up.
