This is my betta. Initially his name is Carl, but I also call him Steven, like the viral horse ‘Steven I thought you were dead’, because he loves to play dead. Having betta was my dream from childhood since I saw one in encyclopedia. So now I am in my 40s and decided to have one. He is in 50l tank, I have it planted, but plants are small, because I bought them in 12grow cups. There are tanins in the tank from wood (which I boiled multiple times and soak for a week). He has catappa leaf rolled to be able to sleep on it, he has floatin log and he seems to be happy when not sleeping. He eats live bugs and despises unalived food.
