i just noticed a small white bulb sticking out of my tetras mouth (the right one) and i don’t know if something stuck or if something grew there? as you can see, the left tetra’s mouth is what it’s supposed to look like. anyone know?

Well, I’ve owned a handful of these guys over 15 years but haven’t seen this. Today I watched a YouTube that discussed how neon tetras once used to be bulletproof but have become weak (often disfigured and short lived). I’m sorry. Perhaps go take a look at the neon tetra subs here to get your best answers. Good luck to you and fishy.
