What it says on the tin, these are from an "Assorted Trout Hooks 50qyt." I think i can tell what some of them are, but I'm ultimately unsure what each is good for, what rigs work best for them, and how each should be used/fished.

If it helps, i mainly fish for stocked trout, and whenever possible, steelhead trout, both in lakes and rivers.

  1. How these pertain to your exact style/species I can’t say for sure, but —

Far left seems to be an octopus style hook — similar to a circle hook, but actually requires setting the hook. Good for cut/live bait, whacky rigs, dropshots, etc.

Second column is a straight shank style hook. Not sure what it would be best for in the trout world. For bass they’re used for punching, spinnerbait trailers, etc.

3rd Column is a hook I know nothing about. Kinda looks like a mix between a bait hook and a swimbait hook. Truly unsure on this one, but I’d imagine its similar to the first column.

4th column are good ole fashion circle hooks. Excel at live/cut bait — simply require pressure to get the hook set after you give the fish enough time. Setting the hook on these will likely rip the hook out.

Far right column your guess is as good as mine lol
