Ph is 6.8ish, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and between 5-10 nitrite. Temp is like 81. 10 gallon tank with real plants and 1 silk plant, 1 mystery snail. Food is fluval bug bites betta formula.
He just started looking a little poofy in the tummy. Is he just a chunky boy (I was in the hospital for a bit and my hubby was feeding him) or is something wrong?

I use the master test kit for water parameters, had tank about five months, weekly water changes with 1 to 2 gallons depending on what’s being vacuumed up, he is fed normally twice per day with like two small shakes of the container. Currently just doing one to see if I was overfeeding. He gets freeze dried blood worms as occasional snacks but he’s only mildly interested so I don’t really do that with any frequency
