Possible to fish my neighborhood pond without getting snagged?
The whole pond is thickly lined with cattails and other vegetation. I’m not sure if there are fish but I’d bet on it.

100% snag but try top water frogs or dry flies. If it’s a neighbourhood pond there will be tyres, shopping carts, fridge freezers or even bodies down below to snag on along with the vegetation

I’ve never fished anywhere where where it was impossible to get snagged. I also rarely fish anywhere without getting my feet wet.
Faint heart never one fair maid. You may just have to stiomp your way through the bushes, wade out in the water, or otherwise just make this happen.
