How do I use these types of swimbaits? Which fish to target from bank and where to cast? I feel like this will get snagged with vegitations.
Top one is berkeley swim shad, 1/8oz and the bottom one is curl tail minnow, 1/8oz.
Do I directly tie them with braid or with mono leader? What power/action rod goes best with these types of swimbaits?

you are over thinking this. fish these the same places you’d fish a 1/8oz spinner, or small crank. use a rod/reel that can effectively cast them. probably a medium or medium light spinning rod. you can fish braid or tie a leader, bass and bluegill aren’t particularly line shy.
