Spooled 10lb braid on a Daiwa Regal 2000.
I am very new to using braid and noticed that this line is uneven, with more on the top.
My understanding is that I need to add a shim, but is this severe enough that I should remove all the line?
Could this be resolved with adding a shim and using the reel?
No idea how to remove and respool!

Yes, I’d add all the shims, that’s pretty far out of whack. The line will be respooled after it’s removed, which won’t do anything about the line left on the spool. If you can, take it to a park, tie a decent amount of weight (1lbor so) to the free end, and walk the spool empty, then retrieve. The weight will help set the line enough so it doesn’t dig in when you catch a fish.
