Hi all! So I am spooling up my new pier snook reel and I tied some 65# braid to 65# mono with a uni to uni and it is too big to fit through my level wind. Is this just not going to work at such a high diameter or did I not tighten it far enough before cutting my tags?

Learn how to tie an fg knot, it’s a lot stronger and will make it able to pass through guides easier. I promise it’ll be worth it, especially with thicker lines!!! Good luck!

6 turn surgeon knot is what I like, easier than fg knot and almost as strong
