I got this reel about a year ago, haven’t adjusted or done anything to it. It’s been great but my line was all jacked up so I decided to redo it. Now I have the worst line lag ever and I have no idea what to do. There are no shims to remove from it and I’m supposed to go fishing tomorrow morning… helppppp

Redo the line right, like cut the knot and redo it, and then soak it in hot hot water for 10 minutes. Not boiling, but decently warm water. That’s a big reason I switched to braided line. Haven’t had an issue yet with that, only Issues I have are with the reel malfunctioning because I give it to a 10 year old lol
Not ideal but if you just take line off until the bottom is a little more empty it’ll fish
