Hello. I have a regular 29 gallon tank and wanted to know if my stocking is too much? (AqAdvisor said this was just below 100% stocking with sufficient filtration). Stocking: 7-8 tiger barbs, 6 black skirt tetras, and 3-4 corys (I'm thinking false julii). I will probably add some driftwood later and maybe some live plants. Would this work? Thanks.

Should be “definitely live plants”. Other than that sounds good. Maybe a few more Cory’s becuase they’re so social. Lots and lots of plants though
If it were me I’d add maybe 2-3 more cories and maybe 2-4 more barbs. They all do better in bigger numbers but if nothing else the barbs. They NEED big numbers to reduce aggression. And they have been known to pick on cories. Plus the black skirts have long fins, barbs like to nip those.
We have a tank with 30 assorted barbs(tiger, albino, green, green platinum), and they leave everyone else alone.
You’ve got the space and if your filtration is sufficient for what you have I doubt a couple more barbs would throw you over the edge. Just watch parameters and do your water changes and watch your happy fish!
I would definitely put live plants in. I also would consider possibly removing the fake plants, but I have had issues with them in the past, so you do you. As far as the stocking Cory’s are a schooling fish and so the minimum number is recommended is 6. As far as the other 6 would say at 6-8 for both to reduce aggression but keep an eye on them because they both can be a bit territorial. More would help, but in a 29 galon with cory’s, I am not sure about adding more. Just add some plants to help block their sight a bit and remove nitrate, and I could see it going well.
Hahahaha. Funny man
Why do you have only plastic in there? Looks bad and serves no purpose. Definitely replace them with plants, much better for so many reasons.
Black skirts and tiger barbs are both known to be aggressive, Id stick to maybe one of them (and this is also another reason why you should have a properly planted tank, so there are hiding places).
