New to bass fishing, what would you add to this tackle box?
What other hooks, lures, baits, weights, tools, etc. would you add to this tackle box? Fishing in northern WI.

My favorite is watermelon craws and I put a split shot on line so it stands up or go weightless and just work it like a wacky rig lol

Whopper plopper, Ned rigs, a knife.

Can’t go wrong with topwater fun. Topwater is by far my favorite kind of fishing becuase of the strikes, but also you can’t always fish IN the water due to cover where the fish are hanging out. Poppers, ploppers, and anything else that floats are excellent additions.

Paddle tails, more senkos, creature baits, and rooster tails.
For each soft plastic try to get dark color, a light color, and a green pumpkin type natural color.
Also would get some jig heads in 3/16 and 1/4 and some beads.

Well, for starters I’d get some worms for a texas rig since you have bullet weights. The worms you have are for a wacky rig.
Outside of that, maybe a popper jig and some swimbaits.

Beetle spins, some rooster tails and barrel swivels. Some circle hooks and drop wieghts if you want to fish with live bait.

don’t put your soft plastics in the box like that, it’ll get nasty, keep them in the bags.

I would literally get a knife or scissors and go fishing. You will figure out what else you need outside of this. You can catch a good amount with what you have. I bought so many soft plastics and lures I don’t use in the beginning and wish I honed in on each technique more.

Trust me, get a jitterbug, if you’re on calm water and fishing shoreline, either from a boat or land, they will hit bass all day everyday. Red and White, and black are the colors I’ve had the most success with.

Id include some smaller presentations for when the bite is slow. Like tube worms or craws

Some jerk baits. Some top water stuff for sure, frogs, poppers, jitterbugs. Take the pliers out and stick em in your pocket so you have more room.
Also you need more colors for the soft plastics. And keep them in the original bags, not in the tackle box. When the sun hits and it starts to heat up, the soft plastics will begin to melt into the tackle box and you’ll be left with a gooey mess.

love those senkos. chartreuse tail has been the best producing for me. but yeah, keep them in a bag.
