New to trout and bass fishing what would you add? (Pliers are kept in my fishing bag so no worries on those 😃)

I don’t get these posts, have you not been in a store that sells tackle? Do you not realize most fishermen are tackle junkies? You have the starts of a tackle collection but for the average fishermen you basically have nothing and to list what you’re missing would take a few pages.
Keep reading and researching, watching YouTube and add to your collection when you see something you think you need and as finances allow.

Power Bait putty. Corn flavor. Slip sinker setup about a foot off the bottom. Limit caught within an hour. Go home. Clean fish. Eat. Nap

A fishing pole would probably help. /s
All kidding aside, rig that stuff together and get to fishing. Those red and white bobbers like to split at the seam(where red meets white) and take on water, so if you start noticing them lazily sinking with no fish on the other end it’s time to put the thill slipbobber on.

For trout, look up the “Carolina rig” sliding weight with a 2-3ft lead going to a size 12 or 14 treble hook. Cover the hook with powerbait (get the multi color with glitter, trout formula) I’d also recommend “micetails” with the same setup but a single hook not a treble.
