moved and used it as an opportunity to upgrade my 29gallon tank. i have a fully cycled planted 75 gallon with 2 albino, 1 panda, 1 juuli cory catfish, 4 blue tetra, 5 neon tetra, and hawaiian platys that breed up the wazoo. id like to firstly increase the size of my current schools of corys and tetras as well as add a small school of kuhli loaches, im thinking 6 in total and some ghost shrimp to help clean up waste. ive been considering getting a red tailed shark as my mom had one when i was a kid in a 36 gallon but she also kept it with barbs, which are a little less delicate than the tetras i currently have. what other species of fish would do well in this tank? i’d like to have at least one other school and a centre piece.

It’s like a mirror image of my upgrade. Same size upgrade. 29G to 75G and same stand.
I have 2 Emerald Cory, 5+ Panda Cory, 3 or so Sterbai. I have babies and I can’t keep up counting.
8 White cloud minnows, 8 neon tetras, 8 Congo tetra.
Heavily planted and top is covered in floating plants. Fluval 407 filter.
I’ve had bad luck with gouramis and they last maybe a year or two. Same local fish store I have been going too. All my stock is from them but gouramis have been hard for me.
Congo tetras have been my center piece fish. The males are bright and colorful and nice to look at. The females are all over so it makes it fun to watch.
The only other thing I might add are Amano. Maybe try cherry shrimps again now that I don’t have gouramis to eat the baby shrimps.
