Sorry if this is a lazy or ignorant post, but been searching YouTube with no luck. I got this reel off Amazon for my 2 day trip to local lake. I got this reel that already had line attached to the spool. How do I line this through the pole?

close that top tab and bring the line under then up, then the line through each eyelit thingy. Pull about 2 more feet out so it doesn’t slide back down as soon as you let go. Then tie whatever rig you’re using!
Honestly you should get that line off the reel and respool a line rated for the reel. To feed the line up the rod you have to open the bale which you would do by lifting on the metal latch.
Looks like your bale is open so the line should pull freely out the reel

Here’s a basic guide to casting. The only thing you’ll need to do before that is feed line through the eyelets up the rod and tie a hook (or a lure) on.
Don’t forget to buy a license for whatever state you’re visiting. You probably won’t get asked for it but 1.) it’s the right thing to do and 2.) it’s cheaper than paying a ticket.

Line is under the line keeper. It’s that triangle in the bottom of the spool.
