My second time fishing solo, didn't even know spotted bass was a thing until a few hours ago. Now I'm looking back at these pictures from this evening and having a hard time trying to figure it out.
A fishing report I found for the reservoir only logged largemouth, but these dudes had (what I thought were) little teeth on their tongues/mouths when I was holding them, which I read that spotted bass have. Do largemouth also have those little teeth? I know you're also supposed to look how far back the jaw goes but I can't tell…
What are these pretty fellas? How to distinguish largemouth + spotted in the future?
