Oops…just got a Redington Crosswater combo (wanted to try my hand at fly fishing) and I took the reel off only to drop it on the concrete floors in my apartment. The bad news is that it doesn’t looks as good as it did…the good news is that it still does its job 😅

I’d call their customer service. Wouldn’t be shocked if they replaced it

Oh mate I really feel for you. This is exactly the kind of thing that happens to me🤣 The reel’s main job in most flyfishing situations is just to hold the line, so you’ll probably be fine. Maybe see if you can somehow round off the edges so they don’t cut or fray your line.
