Question? I just saw post of is my tank too full? How full do you keep your tank(s)? I have 2 rimmed tanks but keep about 1inch of room. Why not sure? Maybe worried about leaking, not sure. Also, normally pushed together but getting ready for a move. What say you?….

Side note, 6 gallon corner on the left, 10 gallon on the right. Will have another 6 gallon on the far right of the dresser stand, be nice flow through once it’s completed.

I keep mine like you’re right gallon tank, paranoid of a earthquake dropping water is all

  3. I fill mine until it’s half an inch from the lip that holds the lid. No reason not to go that high unless you have invertebrates that are notorious escape artists.

I go to the top almost, I like the water feature sound it adds with just a gentle cascade.

On rimmed tanks I want the waterline behind the rim so you can’t see it. On rimless I keep it about an inch below the top

Depends on if I have floating plants I want to see.

Also depends on who is in the tank. Like, blackworms. They seem to do better with a lowered water level.

Many different tanks with many different water levels in my place.
