I ended up getting 1/8oz (size 4 hook?) for the 2.5" minnow and 1/16oz (size 6 hook?) for the 2" grub.
Still learning here.

The 1/16 on the 2″ looks great. The other looks a tad small, but will catch fush

You can definitely catch bass with both of those.

You want the hook to have enough gap to get into the fish’s lip but not he too big fir the bait or so the fish can see it to easily (they only care if its highly pressures and or super clear waters).
These seem to be just fine, though the larger jigs yiu could order with slightly larger hooks. (I wouldn’t worry, no need to over complicate things as a beginner)
