I’m not a beginner—I’ve got a setup that might seem impractical, like three squeeze-on weights on my rod, but that’s what works for me. Y’all just need to find what works best for yall.

I have almost the same setup glad it’s working for somebody lol my hook is smaller should it be bigger? I’m aiming for catfish also. Thinking about trying treble hooks.

That’s not impractical. People have been doing that since the invention of split shot.
