I recently broke down a tank because it has a small leak at the rim and didnt want to risk it getting worse. So the fish, shrimp, and some snailsgot put into a 40g breeder tank. I still have a lot of ramshorn and bladder snails left in the few inches of water of the hexagon tank. What do people do with the snails?
I have thought about turning the tank into a paludarium or terrarium but I would like to drain the last bit of water since I treated it with dog dewormer for the brown planaria (which some are still alive so not sure what works to get rid of them).

I try to pick out the larger snails and put them in a different tank, the smaller ones end up getting scooped out with the sand/gravel
Planaria can infest snails. You might consider euthanasia.
