this is the first betta i’ve ever kept, and one i started from scratch after moving out of my family’s house. it’s difficult for me to get to the pet store from campus, but i’m looking to buy some more plants for the front of the tank. so happy to have my boy rossellini in my life :>

Save yourself from heartache: replace that filter with a large sponge filter (after running both simultaneously for a few weeks). By large I mean bigger than a coffee mug.
