The label says he's a koi betta (which i assumed was the body/fin style). This is the prettiest color I've seen on a betta! I want to try to get one from a good breeder so it would be really helpful to know the name of the color -^ I tried to get a pic of his face but he wouldn't allow it lol

Keep in mind that bettas with these metallic scales almost always go blind.

Looks like a Betta Imbellis or a similar wild type. Wild type Bettas are different than the ones youre used to in stores and generally have to be ordered from somewhere that gets them from Thailand.
