My mother fed my Betta this morning due to my busy work schedule.. I guess this is what an overfed Betta looks like? I guess I'll fast him for 24h and feed him boiled pea afterwards 🥲

Dont feed him a pea its not good for them daphnia is better as high in fibre
I can relate. I left a family member in-charge of my first Betta. STRICT instructions and they must have dumped 1/2 the pot of food in. Came back to find everything in my tank dead except bladder snails. I had more bladder snails than substrate!
Poor little guy. Is that an anchor worm by the pectoral fin or just his fin?
This whole thing about peas and Bettas is silly. Do not give them peas. 🫛
It’s really not the end of the world. I’ve overfed my own fish plenty and they’ve found ways to over feed themselves. They’re all alive and well. I just fast them a couple extra days if they’re looking extra chunky.
