Hello! I just posted here yesterday worrying about my other betta fish but today I got a good look at my other boy Cepheus and his face is all banged up????? He didn’t look like this last night I don’t think ):, he’s got red all over his face and the top of his body, also the skin above one of his eyes looks like it lifted a bit ):. Should I take him out of his tank and medicate him with anything??? Does it look like he scraped himself or something else?? Anything would help thank you!! Can’t tell if I need to spoiler or not as well someone let me know!

Looks like it. How much room does he have to swim in your tank? Also, I would check all the decor to make sure there are no sharp edges, this is why they recommend live plants with Betta’s, im in the process of correcting my daughter’s Betta tank filled with fake plants and a pretty little castle lol
Do you have a test kit? I wonder if it could be chlorine or ammonia burns
I would suspect ammonia burns but I’m not an expert
