Hi, I just got my betta like 4 days ago and he doesn’t wanna flare and if I feed him he spits the food. Anybody knows why?

Did you do all the necessary steps to cycle your tank before putting him in?
He might just be getting used to his environment. Bettas can also be picky eaters though. What are you feeding him so far?
Him not flaring isn’t a bad thing either. Why are you concerned about his flaring and how are you trying to get him to flare?
Ur betta is so adorable, reminds me of my first! He’s gonna be so gorgeous in a few weeks!
May be the type of food, or still getting used to the tank if everything else seems good. My betta took a few a few days to really show his personality and get comfortable in the tank. or your just dosent like the type of food, like for some reason my betta isnt a fan of bloodworms
