It was very sad because he was already sick and acting pretty weak. But from what I know, purple is a very rare color for a betta. I really considered getting him but I didn’t have a tank ready and I didn’t really want to support the place. He was a beautiful fish 💗

I apologize if I was wrong about the color. Looking at other posts, apparently purple isn’t an actual color in bettas. It’s a combination of other colors and iridescents. But he’s still a beautiful fish!
I thought it was a vegetable for a second! 😂
