Betta Fish: I’ve had my betta for only a few hours and I swear he has eaten like 20+ baby bladder snails… is he going to be ok?

First and foremost, thanks to the people who gave feedback on my tank earlier this week. I did add moss as you can see. I also made sure to put some in the foreground because someone pointed out it looks a little bare. Great addition!

So my new betta (named Pinto 💘) has been munching on baby bladder snails since the moment he was put in his tank. I didn’t even realize there were so many in there. It started out cute but I’m worried he overate now. He visually has a full tummy.

How long should I wait before feeding him actual food? A couple days? The good news is there doesn’t seem to be any more baby snails…for now.
