He had fin rot when I got him and it’s only gotten worse. I’m not sure what to do. I put him in a quarantine tank with bettafix and I think I only made it worse. Is he going to die?

This is a crown tail Betta, he’s supposed to look like that

This is mine. It’s just the look they were bred for. (Ignore the tank please, it’s in algae bloom, as all new tanks go through)
I agree with the others, he looks just as he should for a crown tail. But what I haven’t seen anyone said yet was that “betta fix” or anything medication with the word “fix” isn’t good for bettas. There’s an oil in those medicines that aren’t good for labyrinth breathers like bettas.
