hey guys my name is Sebastian and i would to share this baby bluegill that i caught under the Silver Comet Trail bridge, in Austell Georgia. Right next the foundation covered in Graffiti.
After many hours of huffing and puffing with my little bread crumbs, i went to walmart and got myself some Mealworms. I went back to the same spot and casted right where the fish were and after many trial and error i concentrated real hard on my rod, the bobber and the line.
as a rookie angler i closed my eyes and felt the current of the stream pull at my bait… but then i felt the slightest of tugging, i began to reel it in and i felt overjoyed when i felt the little fish fight as i brought it up to me.
It was so tiny, but i felt a sense of relief and accomplishment. It felt good to catch the fish, and i used my pliers to unhook it and i tossed it back into the water. it was wriggling around a lot haha.
is that what fishing feels like? I never thought it could be so tranquil yet frustrating…i am going to practice every day!!!!

Good job, first time for everything! Try some more mealworms and worms there, and maybe chum the spot with some chopped hot dog and corn.
Seems above average some might even say it’s huge!
The thrill of the hunt! Congrats on your first fish and many more to come!
Good job bud! I see many more fish in your future! Its all trial and error, trying everything and seeing what works. Pretty soon you’ll know all the species in your area and how to catch them like no one’s business! You just gotta get out there and keep trying. That’s a darn decent first catch, best of luck!
