Light on the tank is temporary until my new one arrives later this week.
I didn't pre-cycle this tank, admittedly, but I keep spare filter media in my very established 20gal and moved some over so my cycle will get seeded just fine.
Looking forward to seeing how this tank grows in and how Rustin adjusts to his new home

I have a question. Because I’m looking to get another 10 gallon set up really quickly cause I wanna get some shrimp. I also have spare filter media in my established 10 gallon tank. Is that all you need to set up a new tank? Also, how does cycling work? Is it quicker or does it make it so there are less traces of ammonia and nitrites? Just very curious how you did that because I definitely want to set up a second tank but I wanna do it quickly. Obviously I don’t wanna cut corners but if I can do it in a safe quick way I’d really like to do that.
Also, I LOVE this tank set up!!!!
