Betta Fish: My boy likes his heater a little too much

He has many hiding spots and a resting leaf and yet he chooses to sit here next to the filter and heater all day long. He eats well and is making bubbles constantly. What can i do to move him away from the heater.

The heater by the way is specialised for bettas and is always set to the right temp.
