Betta Fish: tips for my new betta and his tank?

hi everybody 🙂 i'm a new betta owner of a blue HM betta, very happy with him. i know bettas like to rest on plants or a hammock but with the hammock i'm afraid to hurt his fins. what kind of plant would be ideal for a betta to rest on? what other things could i add to my tank to improve it and give enrichment to the betta? i'm defenitely planning on adding more plants, i just need to know which ones are ideal. thanks!

    hi i live in south east asia where this fish is extremely common and native to this area. most bettas love ketapang leaves, also known as indian almond leaf. i keep them in a large tank too without any oxygen or filter because their tails can get caught in it. also its not necessary for bettas. just do water changes every week by leaving the water out to dechlorinate 4-5bdays. a tank your size is good.. maybe u can add even more plants like anubias or java fern because bettas love hiding
