It looks great to start!
I personally would add a few more plants and a bit more hardscape(rocks, wood, stuff like that), maybe some floaters. Bettas like lots of hiding spots and low light

pothos leaves shouldn’t be under water, only the roots. The leafs WILL rot if kept underwater for long

I don’t think pothos can be kept fully submerged, so the one on the right will likely rot and the submerged leaves on the left will too, but the part out of the water should be fine. I see the vision though and think you could achieve it with some anubias. Glue them to small rocks and just recreate this
