Hi, for a couple of weeks now, I've seen a small white spot on my beautiful Betta. Unfortunately, it's spreading and looking worse and worse.
The water temperature is 27 Celsius (80.6 Fahrenheit) and I have a 54 liter (14.2 gallon) aquarium.
His only tank mates are a few snails and a few shrimp, so I don't think it could be due to stress….
I also always mix liquid humin into the water, just in case, but it hasn't helped.
Does anyone have any ideas?

People please correct me if I’m wrong, but that doesn’t look like white spot to me. My experience of white spot/ich is the fishes fins/body being peppered with literally white spots. This is one large area, I wonder if it’s some other kind of fungal or bacterial issue.
